SmartBlock Agent designs your SmartBlocks from the instructions you give it in the chat. The more specific and detailed your prompts are, the closer the first result is to what you want, and the fewer rounds of refinement you need.
Use the examples in this article as a starting point. Each one has a basic prompt, a follow-up to refine the result, and an advanced prompt that includes more detail up front. Copy them, adapt them to your brand and campaign, and keep refining through conversation until you’re happy with the design.

Improve your results
The quality of the SmartBlock the agent generates depends on how detailed and clear your instructions are. Treat it as a collaborative assistant: guide it clearly and refine the output through conversation.
Be specific
Provide direct, detailed instructions about what you want to achieve.
Instead of: Create a banner.
Try: Create a hero banner promoting free next-day delivery with a bold headline, product image on the right, and green CTA button.
Describe the visual style
Include details such as:
modern
minimalist
high contrast
State your objective
Tell the agent what the SmartBlock is for, such as increasing clicks, promoting a sale, driving product discovery, or encouraging sign-ups.
Describe your brand if needed
If the design doesn’t match your brand, include your brand colors and fonts in your prompt.
Treat the process as a conversation
The best results often come from a few rounds of refinement. Start with a general request, follow up with adjustments, and keep refining until you're happy.
Use your own images
The agent can’t create images, so it might add stock images as placeholders. Upload your own images to the chat, or replace the placeholders in the SmartBlock editor before you use the SmartBlock.
Review generated designs carefully
AI-generated outputs could be inaccurate or incomplete. Preview your SmartBlock, including on mobile, before you save and use it.
Stay within scope
SmartBlock Agent is designed to help with SmartBlock design. Manage other settings, such as Slots and targeting, yourself.
Keep control of the final result
SmartBlock Agent suggests changes, but you decide what to use. You can always make changes manually in the SmartBlock editor.
