Set up performance alerts

Configure the frequency and recipients for Dotdigital Personalization performance alerts.

If there are unusual changes in your Dotdigital Personalization account to your key engagement and commerce metrics — such as page views, email sends, and purchase values — we automatically notify you so that you can check for any problems and act quickly to fix them.

Each day, your current account activity is compared against your recent baseline. When a metric falls far outside its normal pattern, we send you an alert. A change doesn’t always mean something is broken; it can also reflect seasonal behavior, a scheduled campaign pause, or traffic changes. This is more likely when only a single metric is affected.

When more than one performance metric drops at the same time, this usually indicates a technical issue, for example, a missing Personalization tracking script or a change to cart or checkout markup.
